Chalkboard Wedding Ideas {Sketch Some Fun Into Your Day!}

posted by April

Chalkboard art is pretty much everywhere these days! Coffee mugs, furniture, doors, even entire walls in homes are coated with chalkboard paint for the artist in us to create a temporary masterpiece. In the world of weddings, chalkboard art is perfect for invitations, ceremony decor, cuisine menus, dessert tables... you name it! However, we believe the key to incorporating chalkboard art into your wedding is keeping it a simple addition with subtle hints instead of letting it define your entire wedding theme. Add just a few touches alongside some country chic or rustic inspired decor and you've got yourself a stunner! Here are just a few of our favorite ways to integrate chalkboard art into your beautiful day:

This large faux chalkboard art creates a stunning & beautiful backdrop for photography.

We love added color to chalkboard art.  Especially in this classic country style buffet sign.

Create a timeline of highlights of the bride and grooms adventure together.  Simply sweet!

This soft and sweetly done sketch is the perfect way to invite guests to your ceremony.

                            LOVE these signs! Use different chalkboard fonts to direct guests.

Create a ceremony processional with wedding party names and sequence of events.

                       Cursive chalk fonts make for an elegant way to direct your guests to their tables.

                       Personalize your drinks in a playful and festive way with these drink labels.

And perhaps my favorite of all. Because this is what it's truly all about!

  1. This wedding planner is great, she was always ready to assist/answer any concerns (even returning my late night texts), she had my timeline mapped down to the very last detail (even set-up/clean-up times) She navigated my rehearsal dinner down to my guests on wedding day, everyone thought she was a "DOLL"!

  2. No wedding is complete without a wedding dress. The wedding dresses in long island are one of the best that you'll ever see. Their design line showcases different styles to suit the taste of the bride.

    impressive wedding day
