Most former brides will all agree that even though your whole wedding planning process is spent anticipating the big day, it still creeps up on you whether you are ready or not! All your time and energy is spent planning the flowers, the food, the pictures, the decoration....but there's a few things that every bride needs to remember for the big day. Luckily, we are here to help! Here's a few things that you need to remember for your big day.
Cake Cutting Fee - Most wedding venues or caterers have a somewhat hidden charge to cut the cake. Couples assume that it comes with the charge of buying the actual cake. So when you are budgeting your wedding, make sure to leave little extra for that fee.
Bathroom Supplies - A major aspect of having a fun wedding is making sure your guests are happy and feel that you thought of everything. A great little surprise is to have some common supplies displayed in pretty jars for guests to use in the bathroom. It's useful & your guests will leave knowing that you thought of them.
Wedding Vendor Tips - Although tipping all your wedding vendors isn't necessary, you may want to tip them all at the end of the night. But you definitely wont have the time or energy to remember to do it, so sometime before the wedding, designate somebody (a bridesmaid, a groomsmen, a parent, etc.) to handle the task of giving the vendors their tips. Put some cash in an envelope and label the front of it for easy distribution.
Wedding Day Emergency Kit - Its VERY important to have one of these handy! You can buy them pre-made or make one yourself before the wedding, but if even one of these things are useful, then its worth it!
