I adore Jennifer Meyer. She's ambitious, determined, and focused... the key characteristics of what an entrepreneur is truly all about. Learning the art of jewelry making from her beloved grandmother at the age of six, she ventured into her own unique designs several years later. She started off working in the public relations department for two of the world’s leading fashion houses – Giorgio Armani and Ralph Lauren, and eventually started her own label in 2005.

Her introduction at www.jennifermeyer.com reads, "Her goal was to create elegant, yet substantial pieces for women to wear every day. She wanted pieces that were classic and clean, personal and versatile, and most importantly that would withstand the test of time." She created just that.

Jennifer wanted designs for every day women.  Jewelry that made a statement.  Jewelry that had a story behind it. Jennifer’s jewelry is the perfect balance of understated elegance and unparalleled quality. Oh yeah, and all pieces are handmade with love in the good ol' US of A.

I am a HUGE turquoise/aqua fan... especially when paired with gold. That is precisely why the above pieces grabbed my affection so quickly.  Her signature wishbone necklace (pictured above, right) is simple, classy, and sophisticated all at once.
