These perfectly handmade bouquets are so vibrant and exquisite, I just had to share them with you lovely readers. I asked Jilliann Fredrickson, the founder of Jillianns on Etsy, to share her magical story behind her designs and inspirations that motivate her, and here is what she had to say...
"My name is Nancy, owner of Jillianns {www.jillianns.etsy.com}. Along with one of my best friends, Jodi, who I “drag” with me into everything I try do, we make Jillianns fall into place. (I have all these ideas flying around in my head and she brings me back down to earth and organizes my thoughts.) My daughter, Macey, also lends her ideas and expertise as a wedding photographer and art major for times when we have some complicated ideas happening.
I feel life is something to wholeheartedly grab a hold of and SHOW UP for each and every day. We need to make the most of life and how to serve and help others that cross our paths.
My husband and I own a group home for developmentally disabled adults and Jodi and her husband own a foster home for boys. We keep quite busy with all the meetings we have to keep these businesses running, but we absolutely can’t wait until we can get into our studio and work on the flowers.
I can’t imagine anything more beautiful than a flower. The phrase “take time to smell the roses” makes my heart happy. I take a deep breath, let the world slow down, grab a cup of coffee and begin to work!"

"With the encouragement of family and friends, my business began to grow. Now I receive all kinds of new ideas from my clients. We work together to make their “dream wedding flowers” come true. Along with bridal bouquets, we also make boutonnieres, hair pieces, corsages, brooches, flowers for clutches, pomanders and petals. If brides don't see it in our shop they just need to ask and we will try our hardest to make their requests come true."

Thank you Jilliann for sharing your inspirational and fascinating journey with us. Your special bouquets are sure to charm many more amazing weddings for years to come.

How adorable! I love the last one... so sweet!
ReplyDeleteWhat an inspirational story. It goes without saying that the bouquets are beautiful, but much can be learned from Nancy's take charge attitude to life and her example of selfless giving.
